Sydney-sider Carey Arber writes on health, incorporating research on the link between consciousness and wellbeing. She’s a Christian Science practitioner, and works as the media / government liaison for Christian Science in NSW & ACT.
Carey’s lived and worked in South Africa, England, the Isle of Man and Australia. Her experience over the past 27 years includes working in the dance and fitness industry as a teacher, a personal assistant to executive directors of a humanitarian aid agency and a charity, and a career spanning seven years as a consultant in employment services, for a commercial recruitment agency and several Job Network agencies.
Following years of ballet and modern dance training, Carey found her niche in ‘Exercise to Music’ fitness teaching in the 90′s. She experienced the definite link and benefits between fitness health, mental health, and spiritual health. Today, her exercise regime consists of social tennis, ‘Gym-without-Walls’, and prayer for mental fitness. This combination of physical and mental activity has helped her so much with everyday life, she’s joined the global conversation via the bloggers-sphere, sharing the journey with other health-seekers.
